We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our software engineering team and ensure the quality and reliability of our applications.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in functional testing, regression testing, API validation and defect management within Agile environments.
Responsibilities
Analyze functional and technical requirements.
Design and maintain test plans and test cases.
Execute functional, integration and regression tests.
Perform Frontend and Backend testing.
Test REST APIs using Postman.
Identify, document and track defects.
Perform database validation using SQL.
Collaborate with developers and product teams.
Validate application environments before releases.
Participate in Agile/Scrum activities.
Contribute to QA process improvement.

Qualifications
1. Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required. Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
2. Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on functional testing, regression testing, and API validation. Experience in Agile methodologies is essential.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar. Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured is required. Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is advantageous.
4. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex systems and identify potential issues effectively.
5. Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to document test cases, test plans, and defect reports clearly and concisely.
6. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
7. Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements. A proactive approach to learning new technologies and methodologies.
8. Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Willingness to mentor junior team members and share knowledge.
9. Quality Mindset: A passion for quality and a strong commitment to ensuring the reliability and performance of software applications. Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices is a plus.
